HONEYBEES

My name is Yvonne Towes and I'm planning to open Honeybees Childminding service in January 2022. I have completed all my training and am now waiting for my Ofsted registration visit.

I thought I’d start advertising now for January to get my name out there.

 I live with my husband Sean and our 2 children. Euan who was born in 2017 and Enya born in 2018. We have a dog called Molly who has a lovely temperament. I grew up in Horsham then moved with Sean to Storrington and have recently bought our home in Billingshurst.

I used to work in a nursery in Washington, I completed a NVQ level 3 there and loved working with children and the joy that they bring. Each day is so different and its incredible how the children change and develop in the space of time you are with them. After 3 years at the nursery I decided to explore different areas of care.

​

I then got married to Sean and moved into a new role in the local care home where I have stayed until April 2021. I had my children and worked nights in the home. I loved seeing another side to care and enjoyed the company of the residents, we often sat up half the night chatting. However, the nights took their toll with having my own children to look after so I decided to set upon a new adventure of childminding.

​

I enjoyed working with children and am so excited to return to working with young children again. Especially after having my own I really appreciate how important it is to find someone to look after your little one, who you feel you can trust and who you can see your child is happy with.

So now I’m returning to childcare, a little bit older with a lot more experience, I really hope that you will enjoy my setting I have made for the children where they can have fun, feel safe and valued.

I have great knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage, I have recently completed extra training, CACHE level 3 in homebased childcare to ensure I’m up to date with all the new requirements and I look forward to helping children develop and grow into happy, confident children.
